Perfect Breakfast Smoothies

No matter how hard some people try to be a “morning person” they still can’t seem to wake up bright-eyed and bushy tailed. While getting an extra hour of sleep may not be an option, these delicious coffee smoothie recipes will surely help you start the day with a little more pep in your step and perhaps make you a little more pleasant first thing in the morning. Best of all, they all take less than a minute to make!

Banana Pancake Coffee Smoothie
Who doesn’t love pancakes? Of course, if you’ve hit the snooze button a few times and are already running late, chances are you don’t have time to make a pile of delicious pancakes. Instead, opt for this delicious Perfect Breakfast smoothie. It’s lower in calories, but just as tasty!

½ cup milk (or plant-based milk)
2 Tbsp. old-fashioned oats
1 tsp maple syrup
Dash cinnamon
1 scoop of Perfect Breakfast
1 frozen banana
Handful ice

1. COMBINE first 5 ingredients in the blender and blend.
2. ADD frozen banana, and ice and blend until smooth.

Cherry Coffee Blast
For a fresh take on a spring day, you’ll love the way the sweet-tart flavor of delicious cherries blend with the coffee for a refreshingly smooth frozen treat.

This bitter-sweet fusion packs an extra dose of antioxidants, thanks to cherries. (Did you know drinking cherry juice can help you sleep an extra 90 minutes a night?)

¾ c frozen cherries
 ¾ c almond milk (you can use regular milk, but the almond milk adds a great flavor!)
1 scoop of Perfect Breakfast
½ tsp vanilla

COMBINE all ingredients in the blender and whirl until smooth.

Coconut Coffee Whip
Whisk yourself off to a tropical island even on a Monday morning with this irresistible coffee smoothie. This one requires a little overnight preparation, but it’s completely worth it!

1 can coconut milk
1 cup leftover coconut water form can
1 frozen banana
1 scoop Perfect Breakfast
Dust with unsweetened coconut flakes

1. CHILL canned coconut milk in fridge overnight. The next morning, carefully scoop the cream solid from the top (set remaining liquid aside for smoothie) and beat 3 to 5 seconds with hand mixer until thick & creamy.

2. BLEND together 1 cup of the leftover coconut water, frozen banana, Perfect Breakfast until smooth. Pour into glass.

3. TOP with 2 heaping tablespoons of whipped cream (sure, why not!) and coconut flakes.

Carmel Macchiato Frappe
Enjoy the delicious taste of a coffee house frappe but with added protein and without the pricetag!

1 cup milk
2 scoops Perfect Breakfast
2 dates

COMBINE all ingredients in a blender and whirl until smooth

Chunky Monkey Smoothie
All your favorite flavors combine to make this yummy smoothie that packs a punch!

1 cup milk
1 scoop Perfect Breakfast
1 frozen banana
1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
1 Tbsp. peanut butter
Pinch of salt

1. COMBINE the first four ingredients in a blender.
2. ADD the peanut butter and salt and blend until smooth.

Blueberry Morning Blast
Sure, blueberries and coffee may not sound like a good idea, but we assure you this unlikely pairing is surprisingly delicious!

1 cup milk
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 scoop Perfect Breakfast
Dash cinnamon

COMBINE all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
